Career Development is dedicated to providing comprehensive career development and job search assistance to all currently enrolled students and alumni. The Career Development office empowers and challenges students to grow professionally and intellectually by providing a variety of educational services. Career Services is NOT a placement office – We educate students about the career planning process and teach students the necessary skills to conduct their own successful job search!

Please see the enclosed newsletter for the exciting details on our programs, services, and events..
Career Connections Newsletter

Student/Alumni Networking Lunches
Take advantage of this exciting networking opportunity to gain expert advice, guidance, and support from our successful alumni working in your field.

Dining Etiquette
In the real world, one is often required to dine with clients, colleagues, and supervisors.  Students are invited to join us for a program that emphasizes must-have manners for important meals.  In this mock dinner meeting, you will be seated at a table with alumni whose backgrounds are aligned with your major.

Mock Interview Program
Practice your interviewing skills and receive constructive feedback from human resources professionals. The Mock Interview Program promises to teach you effective interviewing strategies and to help you enhance your interviewing skills.

Welcome to the Real World Alumni Panel
Join us as we discuss what your salary really means, managing your finances, understanding your benefits package, graduate school planning, job search strategies, real estate options, and other post college issues with successful alumni.

Life After STAC Dinner
This program provides an opportunity for students to make a great connection with some of the brightest alumni in a collegial and relaxed setting.  Hopefully these connections will lead to jobs, internships, good advice, or friendship. Ideally, we hope that STAC students will draw inspiration from the professional, educational, philanthropic, or personal accomplishments of our alumni.
