Meghan Hennessy Mihal, Ph.D., is Dean of the School of Business and Professor of Economics at St. Thomas Aquinas College. She earned bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Mathematics from Albright College and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Economics from Fordham University.

Dr. Mihal teaches at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and is passionate about creating engaging, applied learning experiences for students. Her teaching and research interests include economics education, monetary policy, experiential learning, and innovative instructional practices. She has taught courses in macroeconomics, microeconomics, managerial economics, money and banking, the global economy, and the economics of sport, among others. She also works closely with students participating in the College Fed Challenge.

As Dean, Dr. Mihal provides academic and strategic leadership for the School of Business, with an emphasis on curriculum innovation, student success, career preparation, and meaningful connections among students, alumni, and industry partners. She also serves as a faculty advisor to the STAC Business Club.
