BIO
Born and raised in Rockland County, Kara graduated from Manhattan College with a B.A. in Counseling Psychology, and completed her Master’s Degree in Developmental Psychology at Columbia University, Teachers College. For eight years, Kara worked with children and teens with Autism Spectrum Disorder as a Behavior Therapist at a private school in Manhattan.
Most recently, she has become an adjunct professor, at both STAC and other local colleges, teaching Child Psychology and General Psychology courses. In her spare time, Kara enjoys traveling with her husband and their two children.
