Kristen Incarnato has devoted her career in college admissions and career counseling and holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in school counseling from Long Island University.
Her professional experience includes serving as an admissions representative at a technical college on Long Island where she interviewed and evaluated prospective students and guided them through the application process. She has also provided career counseling to high school students, conducted vocational assessments, and taught computer literacy classes.
As the Assistant Director of Admissions at St. Thomas Aquinas College, Kristen evaluates and recruits students in the Long Island and Queens region and plans off-campus events and programs.
What does she find most exciting about her career choice? “I have a passion for working with students and helping them prepare for their post-secondary plans,” she says. Kristen values STAC’s location, many academic programs and student clubs, and its small student-to-teacher ratio, all of which she feels add to “a great student experience.” She especially enjoys working with students and families on Long Island, where she was born and raised.
Since she was four years old, Kristen has practiced dance in every form and even competed until she was 18. She continued dancing through college as a member of the dance and kickline team at LIU and later served as a coach for the kickline team when she was working toward her master’s degree.
Summer is Kristen’s favorite season, and she loves spending time outdoors, relaxing at the beach, and playing with her dog Tucker. Her favorite place to escape to is Marco Island, Florida.
