BIO

Rachel Lerner brings over 20 years of leadership experience in higher education, international programs, and experiential learning. She earned her Doctor of Education in Higher Education Leadership from Maryville University of St. Louis in 2019, and has previously worked at Dominican College (now Dominican University), Bergen Community College, and The State University of New York, Maritime College, across a wide range of functions, including Orientation and Student Activities, Career Development, Title IX, and serving as a Dean of Students.

Her professional journey includes work with EF Education First, supporting both Cultural Care Au Pair and EF International Language Schools, as well as with Semester at Sea, where she worked with students in a truly global learning environment. Rachel is passionate about creating meaningful student experiences and is excited to return to campus life and collaborate with students, staff, and faculty.

She resides in Rockland County, NY, with her two children. In her free time, Rachel enjoys outdoor adventures including cycling, skiing, paddleboarding, and hiking.
