Brad Sarno begins his third year as Assistant Athletic Director for Athletic Communications, after being appointed to the position by Director of Athletics Nicole Ryan on September 1, 2021. Sarno, or as most people know him as “The Voice of the Spartans”, previously held the title of Coordinator of Athletics & Student Activities Programming for 11 years with the college and was responsible for the overseeing all aspects of the Club and Intramural Sports Programs, along with the College’s yearbook publication, The Thomist.
As part of his additional duties and responsibilities, Sarno will remain the advisor for college’s radio station, WSTK.
Sarno is a graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas College (2006) and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. He is also a member of College Sports Communicators/CSC (formerly CoSIDA or College Sports Information Directors of America) and serves on the St. Thomas Aquinas College Alumni Association Board of Directors.
When in season, Brad also serves as the Control Room Operations Coordinator for the New York Boulders of the Frontier League (11th Season).
Personal: Sarno resides in Northvale, NJ and is the oldest of three siblings, Kimberly Sarno and Jennifer Sarno-McDermott. Both are also graduates of St. Thomas Aquinas College (2006 & 2009). Birthday: 2/15/83.
