Earning his college degree is the accomplishment Vinny says he is most proud of. Today, as Regional Admissions Coordinator at St. Thomas Aquinas College, he plays an instrumental role in helping high school students in Brooklyn and upstate New York begin their journey toward achieving that same important goal.
“I love recruiting for the school I enjoyed attending,” he says. “It’s rewarding to see students excited about STAC just as much I was.” Vinny brings his personal experience as an alumnus to the job and feels it’s important to help students sort through the admissions process to determine whether STAC is the right fit for them both academically and socially.
When he was a student at STAC, Vinny served as an athletic intern on campus and also worked as an intern scout for the NY Boulders (AKA Rockland Boulders), a professional baseball team based in Pomona. Later, he became the Boulders’ clubhouse manager.
An athlete himself, Vinny enjoys biking, running, and working out at the gym. He also has a thing for superheroes. His favorite movie? Avengers: End Game. His favorite superhero? The Flash.
