The East Coast Conference is proud to announce its Presidents Council Executive Board and Athletic Directors Council Executive Board for the 2024-25 academic year. The Presidents Council Executive Board is composed of D’Youville president Lorrie Clemo, PhD, who will serve as president for 2024-25, Molloy president James Lentini, DMA (Vice President), and St. Thomas Aquinas president Kenneth Daly (Treasurer).
“As we embark on a new academic year, it is with great enthusiasm that we welcome our new commissioner, Jessica Grasso,” said Clemo. “Her vision and leadership will undoubtedly guide us through an exciting chapter of growth and achievement. Together, we are poised to build upon our strong foundation, fostering excellence both on and off the field. Let this year be one of collaboration, innovation, and shared success as we continue to celebrate our student athletes and elevate the East Coast Conference.”
The Athletic Director’s Council Executive Board will be led by Daemen Vice President for Athletics Traci Murphy, who will serve as president for 2024-25.
This group will engage in discussions that will help support and unite the ECC’s nine member schools and move the ECC to prominence in the East Coast region, strategically tackling challenges on both an institutional and conference level within the ever-changing intercollegiate sports climate. They will also provide the Presidents Council with data and suggestions so the most informed decisions are made toward elevating the league’s brand and recognition.
“I’m honored to lead and work with a strong, smart group of Athletic Directors and Senior Woman Administrators that are committed to providing the best experience we have to offer to our student-athletes and communities,” said Murphy. “I’m excited to work with this creative, energetic, and focused group of innovative leaders and challenge each other to be the best we can be as we take our institutions and this conference to an elite level in the East!”
Queens Director of Athletics and Recreation Rob Twible (Vice President), Roberts Wesleyan Assistant Director of Athletics/Senior Woman Administrator Femi Alao (SWA Chair and DII Management Council Representative), and Daemen Assistant Athletics Director for Sports Medicine & Performance Jeff Sage (Sports Medicine Liaison) round out this year’s Athletic Director’s Council Executive Board.
