Students and families who attend can expect to learn about:
- What laws are in place at the college level, what they provide (and don’t provide) for students with disabilities.
- The disability disclosure process and how students can access accommodations in college.
- What forms of disability documentation are typically required to support accommodation requests.
- Academic accommodations and how they may differ from high school accommodations.
- The importance of self-advocacy.
- Sources of additional support at the college level.
- Learn more about the Pathways Program at St. Thomas Aquinas College.
