Kameron Murrell ’19 was recently named Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at Central Michigan University. Kameron majored in Sport Management, and was a member of the College’s Men’s Basketball team. Before his current position with Central Michigan, he was on staff for two years at Iona (from 2023-2025), and was present for two combined seasons at Fairleigh Dickinson (2022-2023) and St. Thomas Aquinas College (2021-2022). Kameron also worked as a graduate assistant at the University of Memphis for two years after graduating (2019-2021).
In his final two seasons at STAC, Kameron scored nearly 500 points and averaged just under 10 points per game. He guided STAC to the 2018 ECC championship, was named Team Captain as a senior, and helped lead the Spartans to NCAA Division II Tournament appearances and the Sweet Sixteen in 2019.
