The Mahwah Township Public Schools appointed Michael Hagopian ’10, ’15 as a new school principal to take the helm at George Washington Elementary. Michael received his Master of Science in Teaching degree from St. Thomas Aquinas College in 2010, and then returned to the College to receive his Master of Science in Education degree in 2015.
Michael was an elementary school teacher in Westwood, NJ when his supervisor suggested that he consider a career in school district administration. He became a district elementary supervisor for two years and later an assistant principal. He also spent seven years as an assistant principal in Oradell, NJ.
