Patric Sancy ’11 works for the Department of Veterans Affairs. He graduated with his BA in Spanish from St. Thomas Aquinas College and then enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserve. Patric proudly served our country and earned an Army Commendation Medal for his service and two-time deployment to Iraq. The Army Reserve allows individuals to pursue a civilian career or attend college full-time and still serve the community and country. Patric went on to graduate with a Masters from PACE University in 2014, and notes that after serving and earning his degrees, he focused on self-improvement: “I took time to help improve my life for the better, and I am now serving Veterans in my current civilian capacity.”
