SAMPLE COURSES
The Cybersecurity concentration is offered online through a consortium of accredited colleges and universities. All Cybersecurity courses within the program are delivered by faculty employed by partner institutions in the consortium, with technology and administrative support provided by Rize Education.
Oversight of courses offered through the consortium are reviewed and approved by St. Thomas Aquinas College. Students register through St. Thomas Aquinas College and receive academic credit from St. Thomas Aquinas College.
Understand cybersecurity governance, risk assessment, and compliance frameworks to protect organizations from financial and reputational harm.
Learn the fundamentals of IT and operational technology security, including cloud computing, network defense, and securing IoT environments.
Develop the ability to assess cyber threats, create strategic security policies, and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.

Applicants for the Advanced Certificates are required to have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited undergraduate institution and a minimum of a 2.8 grade point average, based on a 4.0 scale.
