The Heney-Kearns Fund, named for two very generous women, Anna Heney and Dorothy Kearns, honors their memories by providing students with modest financial assistance to cover some of those unanticipated, non-tuition costs that present obstacles to their education. The fund assists currently enrolled full-time students by providing one-time grants of up to $300 to help cover some of the costs resulting from unaffordable basic needs or unexpected emergencies.
To be eligible for funding, students must be currently enrolled undergraduates, in good code-of-conduct standing, and have completed any relevant financial aid documentation, such as FAFSA. Grants can only be awarded once in a twelve-month period.
The Heney-Kearns Fund operates because of the generosity of the STAC community of students, alumni, donors, and friends of the College across the country. Please consider making any donation you can afford to help our students when they need it most.
