It is with great sadness that we share the heartbreaking news that Bob Ambrose, age 61, STAC Maintenance Assistant and Aramark Custodial Supervisor, passed away on July 20.
Bob — known to many as “Uncle Bob” — had been a member of the STAC Community for 24 years. Uncle Bob was a selfless and caring man who would help anyone and was loved by all, especially our students. Bob was a founding member of our Social Justice and Equity Forum and just recently was celebrated at a special Aramark luncheon with President Daly for his service to our students. As a fitting example of his spirituality, he had been collecting clothing and other items to bring with him on a trip to Guyana to help those in need.
