St. Thomas Aquinas College held its 66th Commencement Exercises in-person on Friday, May 12 at Clover Stadium — the baseball home of the New York Boulders — and the St. Thomas Aquinas College Spartans. The excitement was palpable while over 335 students were celebrated and awarded master’s, bachelor’s, and associate’s degrees on a beautiful spring day.
Honorary Degrees were awarded to Ms. Cindy Hsu, who delivered a very personal and moving keynote address on the importance of mental health and wellness, and to Monsignor Kieran Harrington, who offered the closing Benediction. We later celebrated the graduates at an “After-Party” at Clover Stadium with over 500 members of the STAC community!
President Daly shared kind words with each graduate, and stated: “To the Class of 2023, thank you for the incredible resilience you have demonstrated these past four years despite the unprecedented challenges you have faced. We will always remember how you navigated these challenges as engaged members of the STAC community, while listening and learning from one another to ensure that all voices were heard and respected. We know that you care because we have felt your impact and the indelible mark you have left here at the College. Now, upon your graduation, please help create a more caring world for future generations and commit to making an impact in the world — a “STAC impact.””
If you were unable to attend the ceremony in person, we invite you to tune in post-Commencement to watch the livestream feed of St. Thomas Aquinas College’s 66th Commencement Exercises.
The St. Thomas Aquinas College community is thankful to its dedicated faculty, staff, students, friends, and all who came together to celebrate our graduates. We are especially proud of the Class of 2023 for their hard work, tenacity, and resilience. Congratulations to the St. Thomas Aquinas College Class of 2023!
