St. Thomas Aquinas College is proud to announce the launch of their new brand platform emboldening students to “Ignite Their Passion.” The comprehensive new brand strategy includes a full rebrand of print efforts and digital efforts including the launch of custom digital experiences—a new external website (stac.edu) and an Intranet (my.stac.edu).
“This effort comes at an exciting time of growth for the institution,” said St. Thomas Aquinas College President Ken Daly. “We know that our students and alumni are our brand ambassadors, and this brand refresh captures what we offer our students. I see passion ignited, creativity ignited, futures ignited when I walk around our campus and when I teach in the classroom. This new brand platform showcases our distinctiveness in a way that only we can.”
Our new branding efforts result from a multifaceted effort the College has undergone for the past year. The overall project was managed by St. Thomas Aquinas College’s Office of Enrollment Marketing and Campus Communications along with an internal Advising committee comprising of students, alumni, faculty and staff. The College also contracted with 5 Degrees Branding consulting agency.
Extensive research including focus groups, surveys, site visits and more led to the development of the new tagline ”Ignite Your Passion” and value proposition:
What’s your big dream? At St. Thomas Aquinas College, we dare you to imagine all that you can achieve—in your career and beyond. In a close-knit community dedicated to your success, your education is personalized for what matters most to you. You’ll learn by doing, discover your gifts, and ignite your passion.
“We wanted to unify our brand voice so that we could share our authentic institutional narratives about what makes us so unique. A brand is so much more than a logo or colors—which aren’t changing. It’s about our story. Why St. Thomas Aquinas College? What makes us who we are,” said Annie Lombardi, Director of Enrollment Marketing and Campus Communications at St. Thomas Aquinas College.
