St. Thomas Aquinas College’s STEM Advisory Board will host a panel discussion focused on “Sustainable Solutions for Climate Change” on Wednesday, February 8 at 5:00 PM in the College’s Lougheed Library. The event is free and open to the public.
The event features a diverse panel of industry leaders who will share their perspectives on the need for sustainable solutions to the climate change challenge for future generations. A Q&A period will follow.
“After previously working 30 years in the clean energy industry, I am honored to now lead St. Thomas Aquinas College and engage with students who are passionate about sustainability and safeguarding the environment,” said St. Thomas Aquinas President Ken Daly. “Our inaugural STEM @ STAC panel discussion will enable these students to become an active part of the solution.”

“We recognize that in order to create a better future for generations to come, we need to work together to find innovative and creative solutions for the climate change challenge,” said Interim Dean of the School of STEM at St. Thomas Aquinas College, Dr. Bianca Wentzell. “We encourage the community to bring their questions and share unique perspectives on the challenges we face regarding sustainability and climate change.”
The STEM @ STAC Advisory Board, composed of current students, alumni, faculty, and recognized industry leaders, provides innovative industry insights and serves as an incubator for new opportunities.
