14 Sculptors Inc. is pleased to announce a group exhibition titled “De-Boned (Hidden Fragments)” at The Azarian McCullough Art Gallery (AMAG) at St. Thomas Aquinas College, in Sparkill, New York.
Featuring work by artists Allan Cyprys, Bernice Sokol Kramer, Carl Rattner, Chuck von Schmidt, Esther A. Grillo, Jordan Segal, Laurie Sheridan, Noel Caban, Pablo Garcia-Lopez and Siena Gillann Porta.
This exhibition shares the visual exploration of each artist’s individual understanding of the investigative process involved in dissecting a state of being, a concept, physical transition(s) or a composite of this inquiry.
“In a broad sense, when we de-bone an object, we transcend its confines to uncover or discover the concealed, exposing the hidden and unveiling a latent truth embedded in our external and internal worlds…. When de-boning, we meticulously liberate components. We purposefully unveil latent elements within the larger whole. This act mirrors an exploration, a deconstruction that spans both a physical and intellectual realm, enriching our engagement and comprehension.”
The “De-Boned (Hidden Fragments)” exhibition will run through Thursday, December 7, 2026. There will be a reception with the STAC community on Wednesday, October 28 from 5:00-7:00 PM. On Sunday, November 1, there will be an Artist’s Reception, from 2:00-4:00 PM, featuring informal talks with the artists.
