St. Thomas Aquinas College has unveiled a redesigned Master of Business Administration (MBA) program as part of its broader “College of the Future” initiative, a strategic effort to align academic offerings with the rapidly evolving demands of today’s workforce and tomorrow’s economy. The reimagined MBA features a streamlined 30-credit curriculum — reduced from the previous 39-credit structure — allowing students to complete their degree more efficiently while gaining expertise in high-demand fields through specialized concentrations.
As part of our commitment to developing the next generation of leaders, St. Thomas Aquinas College will offer a Leadership Excellence Incentive for eligible students who apply to the MBA program by July 31, 2026. This incentive, which includes a financial award of $10,000+ for qualified applicants, expands access to innovative graduate education in high-demand fields. The College is also offering our Advanced Certificate programs at a 50% tuition discount, providing an affordable, flexible way for professionals to build specialized skills and advance their careers.
“The future belongs to professionals who can adapt, innovate, and lead through change,” said Ken Daly, President of St. Thomas Aquinas College. “As part of our “College of the Future” vision, we are reimagining graduate education to prepare students for the opportunities and challenges of an increasingly data-driven economy. This redesigned MBA reflects our commitment to equipping graduates with the knowledge, practical skills, and agility needed to make an impact and active career success in a rapidly changing business environment.”
Students can tailor their MBA through concentrations in Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Cybersecurity, Finance, Healthcare Management & Informatics, Human Resource Management, and Marketing. Each concentration is also available as a standalone 12-credit Advanced Certificate, providing professionals with flexible opportunities to gain specialized expertise, enhance their credentials, or stack credits toward an MBA.
Students can complete the MBA in as few as 30 credits, reducing both time-to-degree and overall educational cost while maintaining the rigor and quality of a graduate business education. Designed for working professionals, emerging leaders, and career changers, the program equips graduates with the strategic, analytical, and leadership skills needed to navigate disruption, drive innovation, and create organizational impact. Courses are offered in flexible formats designed to accommodate the schedules of busy professionals while maintaining meaningful engagement with faculty and peers.
The redesigned curriculum emphasizes strategic leadership, organizational effectiveness, critical thinking, and data-informed decision making while offering students the flexibility to pursue expertise in some of the most in-demand areas of business. The program’s streamlined structure allows students to accelerate degree completion while maintaining the academic rigor and personalized support that define the St. Thomas Aquinas College experience.
“Today’s business leaders must be able to combine strategic thinking with technological fluency,” said Dr. Meghan Mihal, Dean of the School of Business at St. Thomas Aquinas College. “Our redesigned MBA integrates core business disciplines with emerging fields that are transforming organizations worldwide. Whether students are advancing their careers, changing industries, or preparing for executive leadership, this program provides the tools to lead with confidence in a dynamic business environment.”
The updated program provides a streamlined pathway for students from both business and non-business undergraduate backgrounds, creating opportunities for professionals seeking career advancement and leadership roles across a wide range of industries. Students entering the program without a business background will complete a three-credit leveling course designed to provide the foundational business knowledge needed for success in graduate coursework, creating an accessible pathway into the MBA for professionals from diverse educational and professional backgrounds.
The MBA redesign reflects St. Thomas Aquinas College’s “College of the Future” vision — a commitment to ensuring academic programs remain innovative, responsive, and aligned with the needs of today’s workforce. Through innovative curriculum design and industry-informed learning experiences, the College continues to prepare graduates to thrive in a world shaped by technological advancement, evolving industries, and new career opportunities.
