Information Systems
The Information Systems team is available to assist students and employees with college technology — student and faculty computer laboratory equipment, College-owned printers, classroom technology, and the College phone system. Our mission is to assist our students and employees with technology-related needs. Our goal is to provide service in a professional and friendly manner that is consistent with the College’s Mission.

Internet Access: St Thomas Aquinas College will provide free WiFi Internet access to all Spartans.
Software: The College strongly recommends using the latest versions of Chrome or Firefox web browsers for optimal compatibility with university online tools and resources. All Spartans have access to the following Software:
– Google Workspace – Google Drive, Sheets, Slides, Docs, etc.
– Office 365 – Including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
– (Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge, and Safari may have compatibility limitations and are not recommended.)

● Which web browser should I use?
We recommend using the latest versions of Chrome and enabling automatic updates to ensure compatibility and enhanced security.
● My computer operates on Windows 7 — is that acceptable?
Unfortunately, Microsoft no longer supports Windows 7, which poses security risks. Upgrading to Windows 10 or 11 is essential for compatibility with university systems and ensuring a secure computing environment. The IS Helpdesk can assist you with the upgrade process.
