The School of Education invites applications for two tenure track positions starting Spring/Fall 2024.
- Assistant/Associate Professor of Special Education (emphasis in mild/moderate disabilities, assessment, and inclusion)
- Assistant/Associate Professor of TESOL (teacher certification in an additional area preferred)
Qualifications for both positions: An earned doctorate in the discipline, Special Education or TESOL, or a closely related field; ABD considered. Work experience in K-12schools; strong research interests and commitment to scholarship; college teaching experience preferred.
Responsibilities for both positions: Teach undergraduate and graduate courses, advise teacher candidates, engage in scholarship, and work collaboratively on program development and evaluation.

The School of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics at St. Thomas Aquinas College seeks an adjunct faculty member to teach Instrumental Methods Lecture and Laboratory for the Spring 2024 semester, start date January 22, 2024. The course will meet on our campus, in Rockland County, New York.
Adjunct faculty should have a minimum of a Master’s Degree in chemistry, or closely related field, and experience teaching at the undergraduate college level is strongly preferred. Applicants will be expected to demonstrate competency in using Canvas as a learning management system and guide students to complete experiments safely in the chemistry laboratory setting.
Salary is determined by a candidate’s highest level of education: $2,800 – $3,100 per 3 credit course.

St. Thomas Aquinas College invites applications for a full time Visiting Assistant Professor of Chemistry for the 2023/24 academic year. (Salary Range: $59,100 – $64,000)
Situated in the School of STEM, this position will serve primarily our undergraduate programs in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, and Forensic Science. The successful candidate will teach General Chemistry I and II, Quantitative Chemical Analysis, and Instrumental Methods of Analysis.
College teaching experience and a PhD in Chemistry, or similar field, from an accredited institution are required; however, an advanced ABD will be considered with evidence of dissertation status and will receive the title of Visiting Instructor until achieving their degree.

The School of Arts & Sciences at St. Thomas Aquinas College seeks a new adjunct faculty member to teach courses in typography, digital studio, print and web design. The candidate should have proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud. Course[s] will be taught in the Spring, 2023 semester, one day per week at our campus, in Rockland County, New York.

The School of Arts & Social Sciences at St. Thomas Aquinas College seeks new adjunct faculty members to teach in our program in Sullivan Correctional Facility. The College partners with Hudson Link for Higher Education in Prison to offer a B.S. degree in Social Science. Courses must be taught in person at the Fallsburg, New York, facility, and may not have an online component. Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer terms are available, and there is some flexibility permitted in scheduling. A background check by the New York State Department of Corrections is required.
We seek adjunct instructors in a variety of areas but particularly in History, Psychology, and the Social Sciences. In anticipation of a new Master’s of Public Administration in Criminal Justice, we are seeking instructors in Accounting and Management.
