The Learning Collaborative | St. Thomas Aquinas College

The Learning Collaborative (TLC) brings together people who now have the time and the freedom to take classes for fun and who enjoy the real pleasure of continuing to learn. The curriculum is patterned after successful national programs designed to meet the educational interests of the retired community.

TLC provides you with a wonderful opportunity to join with others like yourself – people whose life experiences enrich class exchanges. The program’s expert lecturers lead fascinating discussions on topics that range from science to current affairs, from the arts to interpersonal relationships.

The Learning Collaborative is the unique result of a passion felt many years ago by a small group of retired Rockland County residents. They wanted to go back to school again, to join with others in a rich learning environment.

What are the Registration Fees?

TLC PRICING – Fall 2025

$70 per person

For two people at the same computer, please register both individuals!

There are two Extra Courses this term that are available to students who register for the Fall Semester. Each Extra Course is $25.

What time are the courses?

TLC Fall 2025 Courses are held on Tuesdays
The two special bonus classes are held on Thursdays.

Students are emailed every Monday and Tuesday with the weeks classes and times.

Period 1: 10:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.
Period 2: 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

The Fall 2025 dates are the following Tuesdays:

Session 1: 9/2, 9/9, 9/16, 9/30, 10/21, 10/28

Session 2: 11/4, 11/11, 11/18, 12/2, 12/9, 12/16

Extra Program #1
Thursdays from 10:00am – 11:15am
9/4, 9,11, 9/18, 9/25, 10/23, 10/30

Extra Program #2
Thursdays from 10:00am – 11:15am
11/6, 11/13, 11/20, 12/4, 12/11, 12/18

You’ll receive the Zoom links in a reminder email that’s sent to students on the day before and the day of each class day.
