OUR PROGRAM
The Mission and Ministry Program of St. Thomas Aquinas College, under the direction of the Chief Mission Officer, is coordinated collectively by the members of the College community. The main goal of the program is to enact the Mission of the College, which is to challenge, guide, and energize students, and to prepare them for lives that will make a profound difference in the world. In addition, we aim to create awareness of the mission and charism of our founding Dominican Order, in particular their Four Pillars of Community, Service, Study, and Prayer, with an emphasis on the value of service to the community in which we live and work.
The Mission and Ministry Program is designed for and welcomes students, faculty, and staff of all faith traditions, and those who have none. Our work will allow us to collaborate with many of the offices across the campus, especially the Office of Student Engagement, as well as students, staff, and faculty to create opportunities that will strengthen our commitment to serving our community in direct and indirect ways, and enhance our understanding of the role we play as members of the human community.
