Alumni Ambassador program
The purpose of the Alumni Ambassador Program at St. Thomas Aquinas College is to extend the reach of the Office of Enrollment Management through the volunteer recruitment efforts of well-trained, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic Alumni.
To support our efforts, our Alumni are being asked to take part in this most important recruiting program. This meaningful endeavor will bring all who volunteer to the forefront as ambassadors of goodwill. You will represent the College at either regional high school or corporate college career days. As an alumnus or friend of a high school or college, you are a precious resource for STAC. As you work with, and advise the future leaders of tomorrow, you can help assist many young men and women who would benefit from the excellence of a St. Thomas Aquinas College education.
ROLES
Alumni volunteers assist the Office of Admissions by representing STAC at various recruitment events and activities, and by identifying and maintaining contact with prospective students from the community. The volunteers stay informed of basic admissions information, take part in alumni-student recruitment programs and activities (mainly college fairs,) and provide feedback to STAC regarding materials and activities.
TRAINING
The Office of Admissions and the Alumni Association will provide training and resource materials to volunteer Alumni Ambassadors. Ambassadors are expected to be familiar with materials provided, to abide by ethical recruiting standards, to give feedback to STAC, and to attend on-campus or regional update workshops as needed.
The support of Alumni will help ensure the success of this initiative. If you would like to be one of the College’s Alumni Ambassadors at a high school, corporate, or regional function, please contact the alumni office at alumni@stac.edu. Thank you for helping your alma mater!
