American Foundation for Suicide Prevention
This organization is exclusively dedicated to understanding and preventing suicide through research, education, and advocacy, and to reaching out to people with mental disorders and those impacted by suicide.
Internet Mental Health
This site functions as an “encyclopedia” of mental health topics. It is a good resource for those attempting to obtain information about the various mental illness diagnoses. The site also contains a glossary of common psychiatric and mental health terminology and a list of common psychiatric medications and their side effects.
Mental Health America
This site contains materials on many mental health issues and topics.
ULifeline
ULifeline is a project of the Jed Foundation, an organization working to protect the emotional health of America’s college students. The site contains a lot of valuable and current information on many important college mental health topics.
