There are many teaching jobs in the United States available for teachers certified in the teaching of Spanish. When you graduate, you obtain certification as a classroom teacher (grades 7-12) in any state in the country.
High school Spanish language programs are facing a serious teacher shortage in the NY Metro area. Over the past five years, 100% of STAC’s Spanish/secondary education majors landed teaching jobs within months of graduation. (There are also grants and loan-forgiveness programs for students who major in Spanish.)
