ADVANCE YOUR Career. expand your impact.
For decades, St. Thomas Aquinas College has prepared educators to lead, inspire, and make a difference. Our AAQEP-accredited School of Education combines a strong tradition of educator preparation with personalized attention, dedicated faculty mentorship, and programs designed to meet the needs of today’s educators.
Building on that legacy, the Professional Master of Science in Teaching (MST) is an accelerated pathway for educators currently working as the teacher of record in a school who do not yet hold teacher certification. Through 100% online, asynchronous coursework, you can continue teaching in your own classroom while earning your master’s degree, preparing for the required CST, and completing the preparation needed to pursue New York State initial teacher certification. Your master’s degree also helps fulfill the educational requirements for professional certification once you meet New York State’s required teaching experience and other requirements.
Designed for cohorts of educators, the Professional MST can be completed in approximately 15 months, with dedicated faculty support throughout the experience.
And when eight or more educators participate, cohort members receive a 50% tuition discount.
