Registration Steps for Visiting and Guest Students:
You are considered a visiting/guest student if you are enrolled at another college and wish to register for a course or two at STAC to then transfer the credits back to your home institution.
Step One: Check Course Availability
How to Search Our Dynamic Class Schedule

- Click SUBMIT
- It’s easiest to select Subject
- Click CLASS SEARCH
- SEARCH Available Classes
- Is This Course Still Open?
- CLICK on COURSE NAME to get Detailed Class Information & Check Registration Availability
- If the remaining is 1 or more, then the course is still open for registration.
- Please make sure that the course will count towards your major. We recommend that you meet with your academic advisor, so you are prepared to choose courses that are appropriate for your program of study. Visiting students should contact their home college/university for advisement.
Step Two: Registration
- Visiting Students Online registration for Summer Session 2023 starts on Monday, April 3rd and is ongoing until the first day of the course.
- Visiting Students Online registration for the Fall 2023 starts Monday, April 3rd.
- Please complete the Visiting Student Registration Form.
- Please complete all the required sections of the Form.
- Please note, your registration will be processed if the class is open. Registration in a closed course is not possible. Please review Banner Self Service to view available courses.
Step Three: Payment
Payment is expected at the time of registration. Please contact Student Financial Services at 845-398-4042 to arrange payment. To view latest costs, please contact Student Financial Services.
