Make a difference. Designed For Certified Teachers.
St. Thomas Aquinas College was founded as a teacher’s college. We have a long legacy of preparing knowledgeable, caring educators who are passionate about learning, teaching, and making a difference in the world, one student at a time.
Our School of Education offers a number of Masters degrees for certified teachers. Teachers can start these programs in the Fall, Spring or Summer. Classes are offered late afternoon after the school day.
We offer the following speciality areas:
MSEd in LITERACY

The program consists of 36 credits with 30 credits of core requirements including a supervised practicum in teaching literacy and 6 credits of electives in Special Education, Teacher leadership, or Middle-level instruction. The program uses an integrated approach that includes assessment, planning, instruction, and critical reflection to prepare professionals who are proficient in providing literacy instruction to all students.
