Our modern world is driven by the collection, interpretation, and analysis of data. It is the ubiquitous justification for critical business and societal decisions – a foundation upon which the entirety of our scientific understanding and technological progress rests. Organizations of all sizes use data to make accurate predictions, justify their persuasive arguments, and engage their audiences. Advancements in technology and our digital, densely-connected world have resulted in a massive explosion of data at our disposal. To obtain value from this resource, we need techniques to summarize, interpret, and reveal the informative patterns contained within it.
As a data scientist, you will become part of this critical and rapidly growing field.
