Set on your success
Our graduate school partnerships allow qualified students direct access to a quality graduate education in areas we do not offer on our campus. Sometimes, this means early access – as in 3+1 or 3+2 programs that actually allow you to start grad school when you are still an undergraduate at St. Thomas Aquinas College, and this usually means that you save money by paying our undergraduate tuition and not someone else’s graduate tuition.
Our Graduate School Partners
LE MOYNE COLLEGE OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY PROGRAM
Le Moyne College will save up to three seats a year for qualified students who are accepted into their program. This is a 4+2 program, meaning that you will complete your St. Thomas Aquinas College degree, including some important prerequisite courses for this program, and then begin your work at Le Moyne after graduation. Occupational Therapy is a growing career option for anyone who wants to help people cope with physical challenges that prevent them from doing some everyday things.
For more information, contact Dr. Heath Bowen, Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences at 845-398-4380, email hbowen@stac.edu.
NEW YORK UNIVERSITY SILVER SCHOOL OF SOCIAL WORK
The New York University Silver School of Social Work and St. Thomas Aquinas College partnered to create a program which allows qualified students to complete a B.S in Psychology and a Master of Social Work in five years, rather than the usual six years of full-time study.
NYU Silver offers all courses on the St. Thomas Aquinas College campus in Maguire Hall. For more information about NYU Silver, contact Dr. Susan Marell, visit the NYU Silver Rockland webpage, or email the Rockland campus at silver.rockland@nyu.edu.
NEW YORK CHIROPRACTIC COLLEGE
St. Thomas Aquinas College has established a program with New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) leading to the completion of both a B.S. degree in Biology and Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Students follow the STAC biology curriculum for the first three years. In the fourth year, students transfer to NYCC where they will complete the St. Thomas Aquinas requirements for the biology degree while concurrently completing the first year of the chiropractic program. After successful completion of the required number of transfer credits, students may apply for the bachelor’s degree from St. Thomas Aquinas.
For more information, contact Dr. Bianca Wentzell, Dean of the School of STEM at 845-398-4196.
NEW YORK MEDICAL COLLEGE PHYSICAL THERAPY PROGRAM
St. Thomas Aquinas College will prepare you for a career as a Physical Therapist through our agreement with the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at New York Medical College. Upon completion of your Biology degree at St. Thomas Aquinas College and with the recommendation of our Pre-Health/Pre-Graduate Committee you may receive priority admission and seamlessly begin your graduate study.
For more information, contact Dr. Bianca Wentzell, Dean of the School of STEM at 845-398-4196.
NEW YORK COLLEGE OF PODIATRIC MEDICINE
Students who have completed at least 90 credits and have completed the required courses in biology, chemistry, and physics at St. Thomas Aquinas College may be admitted to the first-year class at New York College of Podiatric Medicine. Students will graduate from NYCPM with a B.S. in Biology and a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree.
