Post-Master Certificate in TESOL
The Post-Master’s program in TESOL is an advanced 18-credit certificate designed for experienced educators who possess a master’s degree and aim to elevate their English as a second language teaching abilities. Advanced Certificate in Autism
12 Credits, Online
The Advanced Certificate in Autism offers advanced training for teachers certified in Special Education or Students with Disabilities who seek to refine their skills to meet the needs of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Upon completion of the program, candidates who hold a NYS certificate for teaching Students with Disabilities will be eligible for an annotation in Severe and Multiple Disabilities.
All courses are taught by experienced faculty who are experts in the education of students with Autism. Coursework covers a range of issues related to working with children with Autism, including fundamentals of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), curriculum development, social communication skills, collaboration with parents, and transition into adulthood.
