Exercise Science is the study of specific aspects of human movement that trains and educates students in a mixture of hard science, applied science, and the techniques and principles of exercise. Upon successful completion of the program, students will gain an understanding of injury and illness prevention, examine how diet can affect the body, learn how to condition the body to perform at its optimal level, and learn the basic study of the movements and coordination of all the body’s parts and systems to improve the health and performance of an individual as a whole.
